Michelangelo Bounaroti and his paintings(1475-1564)
Michelangelo is the greatest Italian painter, sculptor and architect in Renaissance.
he reaches the highest peak of sculpture art.
He lives 89 years, has a 70 years art experience, his rich
experience of frustration and success was mixed into his art with a dramatic
effect, in both his oil paintings and sculptures. He came into a studio of
a famous painter when he was only 13. he mastered the oil painting
skills within an extremely short period of time. He later enter into a
fine art school which sponsored by Florence governor who likes Michelangelo very
much. he can study quite a lot of art objects in the palace, meetings with some
poets and writhers also effected him deeply. Four years did he spend in the
palace, he got everything needed as a great artist.
After the death of the governor, Florence fell into chaos, he lost
his protector, he felt his hometown is not a good place to stay on. He left to
Venice, and Rome for opportunity. The young Michelangelo got a commission to
make sculpture of saint-peter church form French Red Bishop. The success of the
sculpture made him well-known in whole Rome.
In 1505, invited by Pope, Michelangelo went to Rome and start to build the
Pope's grave, where he left the most famous sculpture. Later he was
assigned to Sistine Chapel, he finished the greatest work, Creation of Adam, the
biggest mural painting.
